Delete your account

Request permanent deletion of your sniffles account and associated data.

Delete online—no app installation needed

Sign in with your account email and password, then confirm deletion. A confirmed request starts a background cleanup job. Your account becomes unavailable and cannot be restored.

Other ways to request deletion

In the app, open Me → Delete account and confirm your password. If you cannot sign in, email snilessupport@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject “Account deletion request.” We may verify account ownership; never send your password.

What is deleted

Your authentication account, profile and photo, user settings and interaction records, likes, reports involving the account, and entire conversations involving the account—including messages for both participants. Other people’s independent copies or screenshots cannot be removed by us.

Timing and retention

Online requests are queued immediately and normally processed within minutes. Failed jobs are retried every 15 minutes. If your request is still unresolved after 24 hours, contact support. Email requests require ownership verification and are targeted for completion within 30 days. A minimal account-ID security marker is kept for 24 hours, then cleared by the periodic cleanup after deletion succeeds, to prevent old sign-in tokens from recreating the account. Provider-controlled security logs or backup copies, if any, can expire separately; see our Privacy Policy. This is permanent deletion, not temporary deactivation.
